Everything you need for a great stay is within walking distance; scores of food shops, cafes, restaurants, takeaways, bars and clubs. The apartment is situated behind a busy pub and Royal Mile shops, with quick and easy access to Princes Street shopping and an enormous choice of central Edinburgh attractions, like the world-famous Edinburgh Castle, with many historic walking tours in and around it. It is also just a 15-minute walk to Edinburgh train and bus stations, so should you wish to go further afield, it’s easy to explore more of Scotland or the North of England. Travelling by car? Don’t, there’s no need. However for guests who are driving, there is offsite parking.
Accessibility and other information
The apartment has 59 steps over 4/5 floors and there’s no lift. However children are welcome and there is a cot available. The central location of the apartment means that weekend nights are sometimes vibrant, but there are very few complaints about noise as it’s on a square that is traffic-free and pedestrian only.
