A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who supported our 9Networking event last night. What an evening it was! 20 Effective 9Networkers turned up at one of our good old haunts in Ye Olde Mitre (arguably the best pub in London) and although hardly anyone knew anyone else, the buzz was palpable almost instantly and continued well after the meeting formally ended.

I have a gift for you to thank you for your support, and that is your FREE ticket to the next event on 12th February 2013. Sign up here before this Friday at 12 noon to collect your ticket. In return please send us a testimonial and let me know what you particularly found useful.

To round up the meeting for those people who could not make it, the formula is well established now:

We met fairly promptly at 6pm to give us 20-30 minutes to break the ice and make contact – it was suggested that we arrange a pre-meeting rendezvous for people who find walking into rooms on their own daunting. Perhaps some one would like to arrange this for the next meeting.

Then I outlined the objectives of 9Networking meetings –  to help people build lasting and profitable relationhips by becoming an awesome networker. More ….

It was good to be able to spotlight Michael Bristow and The Cooperative Property Company which focuses on high yielding (typically 12-14% yields) London residential property. They work with partners looking for hands-free income – currently delivering cash on cash returns of 10%+ and are keen to talk to those wanting to know more.

Three tips from the meeting:

Tip One – Start building your List now, follow up on your contacts, help them and use a proper system. More….

Tip Two – Be clear about your goals. Find out what your strengths and passions are and play to those. Enjoy building your extra income machine. More….

Tip Three – Understand what is holding you back – that Little Voice – and override it. More….

Several people at the meeting found a new “buddy” and committed to follow up with a telephone or Skype call to support or simply listen to each other and help them positively on their journey. We have prepared some guidelines to help structure the calls. More….

Finally, we look forward to seeing at our next meeting on Tuesday 12th February. Why not use it as an opportunity to meet up with some social media contacts you have not met yet. Here’s a useful suggestion on how to do it. Someone asked me last night “But what would we talk about?” The answer is, try it – you will be surprised.
